You’ll ask sharp questions, write briefs that unlock ideas, and partner across creative and account teams to turn strategy into business impact.
What you'll doLead the
strategy
Be the strategic authority on a key client’s brand, business, audience, category, and culture.
Build clear, defensible strategic frameworks and POVs that align client teams and give creative teams direction.
Anticipate consumer, competitive, platform, and cultural shifts before the client asks.
Lead annual and quarterly planning, connecting what we do today to the business outcomes clients need 6–12 months from now.
Lead executive business reviews that turn performance across social, web, CRM, paid, retail, and eCommerce into strategic recommendations and roadmap decisions.
Become the
client's first call
Build relationships that make nmbl the first call when clients have a business problem to solve.
Bring clients confident, data-backed perspectives rather than waiting for briefs.
Surface opportunities for new work, including proactive and spec briefs.
Merchandise the impact of the work, making it clear how nmbl's strategic and creative input drove meaningful results.
Represent Strategy in renewals, expanded scopes, and new opportunities.
Turn strategy
into great work
Lead creative briefing, translating strategy into clear, actionable direction that teams can run with.
Own the strategic integrity of the work from ideation through execution.
Partner closely with creative and account leads to develop work that breaks through in the category and culture.
Build frameworks that can guide thousands of assets without sacrificing consistency or strategic intent.
Set direction across content pillars, 90-day roadmaps, campaign themes, testing strategies, and performance benchmarks.
Keep work moving toward the KPIs established at kickoff while recognizing when changing business conditions require a new approach.
Raise the
strategic bar
Connect social, web, CRM, paid media, retail, eCommerce, and social commerce into a coherent customer journey.
Contribute to new-business pitches, client audits, communications plans, campaigns, and other conceptual strategic work.
Help establish new client accounts with strong strategic frameworks from the start.
Mentor Strategists and Content Strategists, raising the quality of thinking and work across the department.

Qualifications7–9 years of experience in brand and content strategy, ideally within a large or integrated agency environment.
A track record as a trusted client partner and strategic advisor.
Experience developing brand strategy frameworks that align complex client organizations.
Experience directing content and campaigns that deliver measurable business outcomes.
The ability to turn data, audience behavior, cultural signals, and business challenges into clear strategic direction.
Strong command of the social and digital landscape, including emerging platforms, creators, communities, and technologies.
Excellent presentation skills and the confidence to develop, present, and defend recommendations with clients and executives.
A strong creative instinct and experience helping sell through—and merchandise the success of—great work.
